Volunteers may choose different activities working with a child in the YMCA READS program:

- helping with reading programs on computers
- listening to and helping a child read orally
- helping a child with different types of reading activities.

Training is provided, and training and background screening must be completed prior to beginning with the program.

Local Law (PCSO) Background Screen and FDLE for volunteers age 18+. (Cost $1.50)
A YMCA READS name tag will be provided.
