Are you an animated person who enjoys dressing up and playing a thematic role? The Butterfly House is looking for volunteers to play the role of "Professor Von Trap", who is our local carnivorous plant expert. The good professor will take groups of visitors on a tour of our tropical butterfly conservatory highlighting our carnivorous plant species. After the tour the professor performs a live plant feeding for visitors. Additional details listed below:
- Professor Von Trap will offer tours everyday through the month of October on Tuesdays through Sundays (The Butterfly House is closed on Mondays).
- Tours will begin at 1:30pm each day, volunteers are asked to arrive at the Butterfly House at 1pm, and be prepared to stay as late as 2:45pm.
- No prior carnivorous plant knowledge is required, volunteers will be provided information and talking points.
- Scheduling is highly flexible for this opportunity. If you are interested, please be prepared to offer a list of dates in which you are available
