We are looking for a Content Editor to research, write, proofread and publish our online newsletter.

Responsibilities include producing the monthly newsletter, checking writers’ articles and optimizing written pieces to increase user engagement. If you have excellent writing and editing skills in English and are interested in spirituality, we’d like to talk with you.

Ultimately, you will be responsible for finding content, editing articles, and producing engaging quality content that speaks to our spiritual audience and boosts engagement with vision and mission.

Responsibilities

  • Craft and send our monthly newsletter - we currently use MailChimp. If you're not familiar with MailChimp, we can teach you
  • Research articles on spirituality that our members will find interesting
  • Write articles that promote our programs and services
  • Proofread and edit articles by content writers
  • Manage the editorial calendar and ensure timely publication
  • Generate new ideas around our vision
  • Monitor user engagement (e.g. bounce rates)

Requirements

  • Resume with work experience as a Content Editor or similar role
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English
  • Attention to detail
  • Some familiarity with SEO and keyword research
  • Team spirit

Description

We're comprised of two areas of focus that provide rich environments for the creation of personal and global service projects, retreats, and courses. Principles by which we operate:

  • Inner growth and service to humanity is our main purpose.
  • Ecological sustainability: Nature is sacred, global warming and ecology are very important.
  • Globalism: Realization of the importance of diversity within the oneness of our global community.
  • We utilize creative processes designed by participants to provide environments for individuals to engage in finding solutions to the pressing challenges facing humanity and our planet.
  • We design local, national, and global service projects that demonstrate how higher states of consciousness can be used in practical ways to benefit humanity and the planet.
