AKhil Autism Foundation
Akhil Autism Foundation’s Fundraiser will be held on Saturday Oct 13 th 2018 at Cross Roads South Middle School, 195 Major Road , Monmouth Junction , NJ 08852 . We are expecting approximately 560 attendees for this benefit event, giving businesses like yours a unique opportunity to significantly expand your reach within the Tri-State area’s South Asian community.
Today, the Center for Disease Control reports 1 in 59 children are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders, significantly affecting families, schools and the community at large. As per new findings, its 1 in 37 now and research is crucial. Every 11 minutes another child is diagnosed with autism, costing families, on average, $60,000 per year. 1/3 of individuals with autism also have epilepsy. Not only must we find ways to improve the quality of life for children and adults with autism, but we must also find the causes and cure. The highest prevalence of autism currently is in New Jersey with 1 in 28 boys.
Akhil Autism Foundation (AAF) is an NJ-based non-profit organization whose dedicated mission is to Educate, Treat, Support, and Research Autism worldwide, especially in under-served countries such as India. Since 2008, AAF has provided critical resources to 1000 children, over 500 hours of online education, and over$40,000in donations towards autism research, professional training, and parent education. - MNRI Home program: 12 hrs of home based therapy provided
- MNRI Camp: 30 hrs of MNRI treatment provided with six different therapists working 5 day 6 hrs
- MNRI Parent workshop; 16 hrs of education for implementing the parent guide
- MNRI courses : 11 courses for professional and parents to educate and learn hands on reflex training
- RPM : Rapid Prompting Method workshop (RPM)
- MAP Consultation: A Biomedical doctor will consult a child online
- Care for friend project : A project started by kids for kids using stencil board autistic individual communicates with a typical child.
- MethlyB12 shots : compounded injections provided by USA based pharmacy for India patients
- Conference: every year to bring awareness of various educational and biomedical treatments
