Friends of Lory State Park is the nonprofit arm of Lory State Park. They are looking for a volunteer to raise awareness of programs, events, volunteer opportunities, funding needs, accomplishments, conservation and stewardship of the natural resources of wildlife of Lory State Park, and more!
Duties will include drafting press releases, public service announcements, flyers, and other documents for distribution to media and other outlets; preparing drafts for posting to the Friends of Lory State park website; posting information, photos, and graphics to the website; writing articles, and more!
Previous experience in communications, public relations or journalism is preferred.

The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Volunteers of America provides volunteer opportunities for individuals 55 years and older to use their skills, insight and lifetime experiences to assist residents and non-profit agencies in the county. RSVP also offers a variety of programs which provide services and enhance the quality of life for seniors.
