ORGANIZATION: United Way of Martin County/AmeriCorps Seniors

Martin Volunteers is a program of United Way that recruits volunteers for non-profit agencies in Martin County.

The mission of the organization where this opportunity is located is to provide opportunities and choices that help children, families, and adults improve their quality of life through education, counseling, training, and employment.

Volunteers are needed to assist with various programs. Opportunities include:
*Assembling the BRAIN (Building Readiness Among Infants Now) bag and binders filled with information.
*Assist with Music and Movement Classes for children up through the age of 5 during the week and their parents.
*Assist with an 8 week therapeutic camp during the summer. Children ages 6-12.
*Assist with the Transition Program for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder aged 18-24.
*Assist with learning efforts for adults with disabilities, ages 21-60, in educational, community and recreational activities.
*Help identify potential employers for the Employment Options Program.

Background check required. Must be 18+.
