During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to participate in our Impact Sector survey, access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Temp Homes: People care for a puppy or adult dog in their home for short periods as needed. Temp homes provide a safe and loving home where the puppy will learn or maintain housebreaking, obedience, excellent house manners, and socialization in public places. For an adult dog, they will maintain their good house behaviors and socialization.
v Hours of Volunteering: Temping a puppy or adult dog for a scheduled time period.
v Requirements: Puppy orientation session, obedience training classes with our puppy, and a home visit by a Foundation representative. Veterinary care is covered by our veterinarians. Food is paid by the volunteer, approximately $50 per month.

To improve the quality of life of people who are blind, visually impaired, or who have other special needs.
Guide Dog Foundation strives to be the leading resource and provider of premier services to facilitate the independence of people who are blind or visually impaired. The Guide Dog Foundation also plans to be the standard by which the military and the VA measure assistance dog providers, and America's VetDogs (VetDogs) is our way of recognizing the sacrifice made by our men and women in uniform.
We'll work with your schedule.
