The Volunteers of America Grocery Shopping Program is looking for a few new shopper volunteers! The Program utilizes volunteers to shop for groceries that are then delivered to home bound seniors and others with disabilities that cannot get to the store themselves. The shopping position takes place at Safeway in Loveland (1451 W. Eisenhower Blvd.) on Tuesday mornings from 8:00-10:30. A grocery list for each client is present at the store when the volunteers arrive and the volunteers pick up a few orders to shop for.
Training and Support is always available. A background check through Verified Volunteers is required. This is a weekly recurring volunteer position, however substitute positions are also available.

The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Volunteers of America provides volunteer opportunities for individuals 55 years and older to use their skills, insight and lifetime experiences to assist residents and non-profit agencies in the county. RSVP also offers a variety of programs which provide services and enhance the quality of life for seniors.
