Allay participates in Honor Flight Homecoming
Allay volunteers & staff await the arrival of the Stars & Stripes Honor Flight on their return to Milwaukee, WI to thank them for the sacrifices they have made for our freedom.

Because they share a military bond, veterans form a camaraderie that goes beyond their civilian roles. This connection is comforting to other veterans at end of life

Allay is looking for veteran and active military members who are wiling to provide support and companionship to hospice patients who have similar background. The main focus of our Veteran Program is to allow terminally ill veterans an opportunity to share their military history with others who can relate to military life and are willing to walk with them on their final journey.

In addition to life review and companionship, Veteran Volunteers may also choose to participate in a variety of activities to help us honor our patients such as: veteran recognition events and memorial services, community outreach and the Veterans History Project.

The amount of time you give is flexible and scheduled around your availability. We take into account your location to assign patient visits that are within or near your own community.

Hospice is not a place, but a special way of caring that promotes one's quality of life and death with dignity. When medicine cannot provide a cure, Allay Hospice offers patients and their families the comfort, compassion and assistance necessary to maintain the best possible quality of life.

Allay is a locally owned hospice with offices in Brookfield, Jackson & Waterford to serve all communities of Southeastern Wisconsin.
