We are seeking cheerful and dedicated volunteers to assist the organization, Metro Community Development Corporation to warmly greet people inquiring about the many services and programs that are provided at the Delavan Grider Community Center early afternoons from 2:00pm-6:00pm and possibly the evenings, 6:00pm-9:00pm. The ideal person (s) must possess organizational skills, capable of multi-tasking, strong attention to detail, organizing skills and proven customer service skills.

2 Shifts

  • 02:00 PM to 06:00 PM
    Weekdays
  • evening / 06:00 PM to 09:00 PM

Description

Metro CDC provides a variety of safe and supervised programs geared to assist youth with appropriate opprotunities for academic and social success.

  • Afterschool program that currently serves youth age 5-12.
  • 10 week Summer Camp for ages 3-12
  • Sports programming through a colloboration with Police Athletic League (PAL)
  • Health and wellness workshops
  • Mentoring programs for girls (8-18)
  • Social, recreational, arts and crafts, health and wellness programming for Senior Adults
  • Fitness programming for Adults including zumba, weight lifting and line dancing
