This is an opportunity for individuals who like to engage with the public and support Seattle’s cultural scene, helping Folio create welcoming, informative, and enjoyable literary and cultural events that engage the community.
Responsibilities:
Provide overall event assistance including:
- set-up and breakdown of chairs, tables, and sound system,
- orienting caterers and other vendors to Folio space and staging areas,
- welcoming guests, providing friendly and courteous customer service,
- addressing guest and vendor questions and concerns,
- checking guests in, assisting guests with seating,
- assisting guests with disabilities,
- providing an orientation to Folio’ mission and amenities.

Folio and its partners present frequent public programs in and intimate setting at bargain prices. Our calendar is full of book discussions, author talks, poetry, debates, concerts, panels and cross-cultural encounters.
