The 3rd annual Wilder Block Party will be held on Saturday, August 11 from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on the grounds of the Wilder Center (451 Lexington Parkway N.) The previous two block parties were great community successes, and we couldn’t do it without the help of dedicated volunteers.
We are seeking approximately 50 volunteers to again work one of two three-hour shifts: 1:00-4:00 p.m. This family-friendly event offers cool activities for kids and adults, local entertainment, and delicious food. Volunteers are needed to greet attendees, register volunteers, help run a variety games and activities, distribute Wilder information, and more.
Volunteers will receive Wilder t-shirts and snacks, and water will be provided. Don’t worry about driving/parking - the Wilder Center is located steps from the Green Line.
