Volunteer Idaho Panhandle is expanding and growing. Come be part of our outreach in the Bonner and Boundary County communities to build volunteerism and make connecting to the right opportunity a breeze! We have a need for a few team members to join our fun and energetic group who are making it easy for people to give their time and their talent to something they care about. We are on our way to 50 organizations being actively engaged in our program.
We are looking for those who love interacting with people and love their community. We have a simple process to engage non profit organizations and teach them how to attract and retain valuable volunteer talent. We are encouraging the use of a powerful online tool to help connect potential volunteers with a place where they will be thrilled to serve....at whatever level they choose. We plan monthly meet ups at fun locations to encourage folks to explore the possibilities and meet face to face with non profits actively looking for talent.
Your commitment can be a little or a lot....We are just happy to have your help and involvement!

Mission Statement
SCRC is actively engaged in linking people with needed social services in Bonner and Boundary Counties through the organization of local and statewide service information and the development of an active network of service providers.

Longer term objectives of Sandpoint Community Resource Center are summarized as:
- To create a sustainable source of funding to carry the organization into 2015 and beyond.
- To develop and maintain high tech solutions for database management for resource, service and performance tracking.
- To build a volunteer base to adequately meet the objectives of the organization going forward.
- To build a community presence both online and physically as the 'go to" source for identifying resources.
- To lead the community of providers to work cooperatively and collaboratively on meeting the needs of the community.
- To create a community resource center to house those offering basic services.
