Use your talent and passion for cooking to bring smiles to faces, joy to hearts, and delicious food to many plates in your community! Volunteers are needed to assist with Bello Machre’s bi-monthly employee cooking classes. Employees who care for the individuals who live in our homes enjoy expanding their menu offerings by learning to make new easy, healthy, and fun family meals. Volunteer duties include brainstorming with our team for recipe ideas, creating recipe cards, and shopping for ingredients. We would like for this volunteer to also assist with the set-up and hosting of the events - and maybe even teach the class!

Description
Bello Machre, founded in 1972, is a non-profit organization in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Bello Machre means "home of my heart" in Gaelic. We nurture, teach, and care for hundreds of children and adults with developmental disabilities. Some are as young as three months old. Some are seniors. Many are struggling with severe medical conditions. But they all have one thing in common: the need for a loving family and for a home where they can feel safe and loved. We serve children and adults without regard to race, religion, gender, or national origin.
