VITAS Healthcare is looking for Patient Care Volunteers to visit patients on hospice residing in assisted living, nursing homes and/or their own homes located in Festus, MO. This includes Festus Manor located at 627 Westwood Dr. S, Festus, MO 63028. Patient Care Volunteers offer companionship, play music, games, read to patients and help in other meaningful ways. Volunteers are the heart of VITAS Healthcare providing friendly, non-medical patient and family care through offering individualized support services.
Volunteers visit VITAS patients to provide specific, non- medical care through socialization and friendly visits. VITAS Healthcare provides comprehensive training and orientation for hospice volunteering. Days and times for volunteering are flexible according to your availability. Description
Volunteers are the heart of VITAS Healthcare, providing friendly, non- medical support to hospice patients and their family or offering support services in the office. We are seeking caring and compassionate individuals to volunteers for our patients in their homes or in nursing facilities in the community.
