An excellent education and access to a college preparatory program is indispensable in showing children what they are capable of, while empowering them to achieve it. The "Oh! The Places We'll Go!" Success Starts with Hope Breakfast is a free, one-hour fundraising event where we discuss the mission of Boys Hope Girls Hope and how we help scholars achieve their dreams.

As a Table Captain, you will bring 8 guests that you think would be interested in learning about the great work we are doing. The job of Boys Hope Girls Hope is to inform and inspire them through the use of powerful video and emotional testimony to want to get involved as donors or volunteers. At the end of the breakfast, guests will be asked to donate and/or volunteer but will not be required to give.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to nurture and guide motivated young people in need to become well-educated, career-ready men and women for others.

Description

At BHGHCO, education is seen as the key to self-sufficiency and college is the avenue towards a career for a stable future. For over 25 years, BHGHCO has been providing a pathway to a successful future for young people who have the ambition and determination to achieve a college education and a life of service but do not have the supports to reach this goal. We believe that motivated children can overcome significant barriers and develop their inherent talents when engaged in strong relationships and opportunities for academic and character development. By opening a doorway of opportunity for these young scholars through year-round college-preparatory supports, they are able to thrive in an environment that empowers them and allows them to develop their life skills and strengths.
