Mission Statement
We bridge the gaps between support, resources, and programs, so autistic individuals are empowered to recognize their potential and discover the meaningful connections needed to realize their goals.
Description
Autism Tennessee is a non-profit organization serving the approximately 35,000 individuals and families diagnosed with autism in Middle Tennessee.
Our mission is to bridge the gaps between support, resources, and programs, so autistic individuals are empowered to recognize their potential and discover the meaningful connections needed to realize their goals.. We envision an interdependent world where diversity is embraced, and autistic people have opportunities to thrive.
For over 20 years, Autism Tennessee has provided information, support, and referrals to the autism community. One out of every 36 children born today will be diagnosed with autism. By investing in Autism Tennessee, families and the community are better equipped to create an inclusive culture. The only funding to support Autism Tennessee comes from individual donors, corporations, and grants. We hope you’ll consider being one of our community partners and helping to make a difference in the lives of autistic individuals.
