Shopping Assistants - Tues- Sat morning and afternoon shifts available

Shopping assistants work directly with the clients we serve assisting them with shopping for their furniture and household items. They play a critical role in operations helping to facilitate shopping appointments, log items received by each family, communicate with the warehouse crew as they load furniture and provide excellent customer service to our clients.

• 3-4 hour shift in a warehouse environment
• Closed toed shoes
• Weather appropriate layers - the warehouse can get cold
• Packing water and a snack advised

Are you 55 years of age or older? Would you like to make an impact and improve your community? Then you are a perfect candidate for the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)!

RSVP is a part of a national network of programs called "Senior Corps" that recruits adults 55 and older to use their talents and life experience to help meet community needs through volunteer service. The focus of RSVP is to incorporate meaningful volunteer opportunities that provide purpose and a way to give back to the community.

Did you know that volunteers live longer? And there are health benefits of being needed and appreciated, and you have the opportunity to try new things and meet new people.

By joining this program, you become part of a national Senior Corp movement of hundreds of thousands of volunteers striving to help their communities.

We have a yearly recognition luncheon and a gift for everyone who is a member of RSVP. We also hold smaller events, such as ice cream socials and coffee and pastries throughout the year to celebrate YOU and the contribution of your time and dedication to helping your community.
