JA Job Shadow Event at Buchtel CLC with Project Grad on June 19, 2018

Junior Achievement is working with Project Grad's Summer Institute to coordinate a reverse-job shadow event for 18 high school students. The purpose of this event is to expose students to a variety of career opportunities.
Volunteers will meet with six groups of 2-3 student volunteers for approximately 15 minutes with each group.
There are no JA lessons to prepare for this event. Come ready to share YOUR story and career path with these students and be prepared to answer their questions.

Junior Achievement of North Central Ohio is educating students throughout Ashland, Carroll, Coshocton, Crawford, Knox, Marion, Medina, Morrow, Portage, Stark, Summit, Tuscarawas, Richland, Wayne and Wyandot counties.Through a dedicated volunteer network, JA provides programs for students in grades K-12 educating them about:
Entrepreneurship Workforce Readiness Financial Literacy
JA programs help prepare young people for the real world by showing them how to generate wealth and effectively manage it, how to create jobs which make their communities more robust, and how to apply entrepreneurial thinking to the workplace. Students put these lessons into action, and learn the value of contributing to their communities.
