Junior Achievement of North Central Ohio Program Kit Recycling

ORGANIZATION: Junior Achievement of North Central Ohio, Inc.

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
  • 5 people are interested

Junior Achievement is in need of some volunteers to help us with a program material recycling project.

JA volunteers who teach our programs are given a brief case containing all of the materials they need to teach 5-7 Junior Achievement lessons. We collect left over materials and, with the help of volunteers, we sort, organize and put together full program kits that can be used in the future.

This helps us stretch our donor dollars and involve more students with our programming during the school year.

Individuals are welcome to volunteer and this would be a great project for groups of volunteers to do.

Scheduling is flexible. Our office is open 8:00 to 5:00 Monday through Friday. Evening or weekend hours can also be arranged by contacting Denice Schafer, Sr. District Director at 330-434-1875 ext 20 or denice@jaofnco.org.

Visit our website at www.jaofnco.ja.org for more information.

Mission Statement

CHANGING THE LIVES OF YOUNG PEOPLE Junior Achievement’s mission is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed. The inspiration piece comes from community volunteers who not only deliver our lessons, but share their experience. In the process, these volunteers serve as role models helping to positively impact young people’s perceptions about the importance of education, as well as critical life skills. Preparation involves our proven lessons that promote financial capability, work and career readiness, and business ownership.

Description
