North Oakland Village is always on the lookout for people interested in assisting our members in the senior community. Our volunteers can assist in a variety of ways, such as:
Driving members to and from appointments and activities.
Be a walking companion or a dining-out partner.
Check in on members by phone.
Help care for pets or plants.
Help with minor household tasks.
Assist with or troubleshoot computer issues.
Visit shut-ins; become a companion.
Organize an interest group.

North Oakland Village is a community of people-neighbors helping neighbors- who support healthy, safe and independent living as we grow older. We help out community of members and volunteers stay active, become engaged and have fun, enlivened by the fresh new community our Village represents. We offer an ever-evolving menu of activities, seminars, classes and events tailored to the many interests of our members.
