Mission Statement

Our mission is to support an aging in place community network in Oakland and Piedmont, CA, through programs and services that provide options for independence, engagement and well-being. Our vision is to build a community where all are supported, valued and thriving as they age.

Description

North Oakland Village is a grassroots non-profit membership community. almost entirely run by volunteers. We are part of a loosely associated national network of "virtual villages" designed to assist seniors live independently as long as feasible.

NOV is a great group of caring individuals who support seniors aging in place.The volunteers have hands on work to support the mission.

A great group of people with the interests of people at the heart of everything. Give as much or little time as you can afford, extremely flexible. Great central location
