Sports Volunteers - Assistant Coaches - Stand Up Paddle

Whether you are a seasoned coach or have no coaching experience, you can be a Special Olympics Florida coach! If you have an interest, we have the training!

As a Sports volunteer/Assistant Coach, you will teach sports skills and model good sportsmanship and character. You will also increase Special Olympics athletes’ self-worth, ability, courage, and capacity to grow and improve.

  • WHEN: Saturday mornings, 8:15-9:15 (June-August)
  • WHERE: Paddle Board Orlando - 115 N Orlando Ave. suite 109, Winter Park, FL

Note: All Sports Volunteers must undergo a background check and protective behaviors testing for the safety of our athletes.

Description

Special Olympics Florida provides sports training and Olympic-style competition to more than 60,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities and developmental disabilities throughout the state. Special Olympics Florida is a Level I Accredited Program (highest level of accreditation granted by SOI) and is divided into 11 area programs, which cover over 55 counties.
