ORGANIZATION: FRIENDS OF THE BOCA RATON PUBLIC LIBRARY

  • 11 people are interested

The mission of the Friends of the Boca Raton Public Library, Inc. is to support and enhance the value of the Boca Raton Public Library as it serves. To that end, we fund around $50,000 a year in library events, in addition to our own special events, speaker presentations, and music series. We are an all-volunteer organization.

We are looking for a blogger to write content for our website that includes stories about our volunteers, our events and sponsored library programming, to be also shared on our social media channels and in our monthly community newsletters, to engage our followers in attending our events and volunteering in our organization.

This volunteer opportunity can mostly be accomplished remotely; intern may wish to attend occasional shows and events at the Boca Raton Public Library to obtain first-hand content for the blogs.
