Interested in a hands-on volunteer experience? Come help PPL beautify our Hawthorne Community Garden in preparation for the growing season! This garden is an amazing resource for our residents to educate themselves on sustainable gardening practices and grow healthy food and herbs!
PPL is looking for a group of 10-15 volunteers to schedule a volunteer project the week April 15th-19th. Tasks include helping turn and rake soil, weed the plots, and help clean and organize the garden space for our residents. No experience is required and all of the tools for the project will be provided by PPL.
