Fun and happy environment, easy to jump in and find tasks to help out with.

I really enjoyed my time volunteering at PPL. In the Access Lab I was giving advice to adults on how to construct resumes and how to best apply to jobs. The staff was very supportive and appreciative of my assistance. I absolutely would recommend volunteering at PPL for anyone interested in making a difference to a population is often forgotten about.

I have volunteered at the PPL Learning Center for 4 years. The PPL staff is very supportive of the volunteers and very easy to work with. The PPL Learning Center has an open computer lab for people who do not have their own computer. I work 1:1 with adults who need assistance with basic computer skills, job applications and education needs. I live in the suburbs and I enjoy coming into Minneapolis and helping a very diverse population. I consider the Learning Center neighborhood very safe.

PPL opens many doors for people who thought they have lost all their opportunities and have nothing left. PPL educated those in need and ask nothing in return. PPL motives others to do better each and everyday. PPl inspires me to be a better person and is a place where you be yourself.
