Description: Through this opportunity, we intend to connect young adults with individuals in the field of filmmaking, in the hopes of volunteers to become mentors in the regard of sharing of their knowledge in Digital Filmmaking. Our organization in return will support these young adults in bringing their ideas to light through the sharing of digital equipment.


Who:
Volunteer (You)

What: Use your skills and understanding within film production to help educate individuals about the art of Digital Filmmaking and the components that go into creating content (storyboarding, film production, call sheet, etc.)

When: Ongoing. Our intent is to engage you in a 3-4 week workshop (Saturdays). To meet and speak to interested young adults/adults in Digital Filmmaking

Where: Brooklyn, New York, 11226

Why: We've identified young adults looking to further develop their script to production while lacking the understanding of how to get from idea to creation in a low-no budget functional manner. Through this project, individuals will use the equipment of Digamma Lambda Mu (DLM) to further create their content

Digamma Lambda Mu Inc. is a non-governmental organization founded on March 29, 2012, whose goal is to provide individual self-development and community growth through community developmental activities.

Located in New York City, we create and organize community development projects that improve the lives of immigrants, low-income families, and at-risk youths of the New York metropolitan area.
