Mission Statement
Digamma Lambda Mu Inc is a non-profit bureau that supports persons through community organization to strengthen creative and self-development. It is our duty when we are capable to be the cornerstone in social services locally and globally so that usefulness of sustainable development services is no longer an option.
Description
Digamma Lambda Mu is in start-up phase, with an ambitious idea of how to bridge the gap of immigrant families learning. We plan on starting a ESL class in the end of July in five month cycles. We hope the work we do in coaching English language learning can broaden our outlook to have Citizenship preparedness resources.
Update (March 8, 2014)
The support we received through volunteers allowed us in 2013 to start two English as a Second Language class to help over 20 students to learn English through the support of engaged and willing instructors. We continue one of our classes through 2014. We were able to hold a Computer Workshop that engaged a local high school robotics club and community members. They gained hands on experience with the leadership of a College Professor building two desktop personal computers.
