You can help the Milwaukee Public Library fight summer brain drain by donating your time as a volunteer at our summer children's programs!
Over 10 years ago, we started our Summer Programs as a way to fight learning loss throughout the summer months. The only problem is, our programs have become so popular we need extra help to accommodate all the children that want to have fun and learn!
Lend a helping hand this summer and ensure all our young patrons have an ed-cellent experience. Volunteers will help the Children's Librarian with event prep and setup, crowd control, answering questions and helping patrons, assisting with the program, and cleanup.
From Slime Making to Hip Hop Music, there's something for everyone. Volunteers are allowed to pick and chose what dates and locations work best for them.
