As an organization, we are committed to Creating a City of Readers & Lifelong Learners, Anchoring Healthy & Vibrant Neighborhoods, and Contributing to a Strong Milwaukee.

With 13 branch locations throughout Milwaukee, we serve a population of over 595,000 individuals. We house a collection of over 2.5 million items in print, digital, and media. Each year we welcome over 2 million visitors and offer over 6,000 free programs for children, teens, and adults, throughout our community.
