The Harbor Dish is a mobile community cafe and is a 501(c)3 created in 2013 to serve the Safety Harbor, FL area. harbor Dish creates delicious food in an environment where individuals needing a helping hand can dine with dignity. We have established a network of community-minded people who have built a caring community that utilizes local farmers, businesses and volunteers to enrich the lives of our patrons and reduce food waste.

Harbor Dish is looking for a few volunteers who want to learn how to manage our scheduling system.

Volunteer Coordinator Responsibilities:

Recruiting, training, and supervising new volunteers.

Collecting volunteer information, availability, and skills, and maintaining an up-to-date database.

Using marketing tools such as outreach programs, e-mails, and volunteer databases.

Keeping new and existing volunteers informed about the organization and volunteer opportunities.

Matching volunteers to opportunities that suit their skill sets, and ensuring they understand their responsibilities and receive the proper training.

Organizing training and leading on-the-job training.

Keeping schedules and records of volunteers' work.

Preparing codes of conduct and operating procedures to uphold the organization's values.

Ensuring the organization's purpose is conveyed to the public.

Proficiency with Volgistics, Word, Internet and Email applications a plus.

Non-Profit/Volunteer experience desired.

Effective Communication and Time Management is a requirement.
