Volunteer at our Nature Explorers summer camps! We are looking for volunteers age 14 or older to help us put on fun, educational outdoor nature camps for students K-5 this summer. Camps will run Monday - Friday from July 8 - August 3. You do not have to be available the whole time! Each day will have two volunteer shifts for you to choose from; we are happy to have your help for as many or as few days as you can commit. All volunteers will receive three hours of training before volunteering. Learn more about our camps on our website, and fill out an application if interested! Description
The Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History offers an interesting and enriching experience for all ages, talents and skill levels. We welcome new volunteers year-round and offer a variety of ways to be involved and make a difference in our community:

* Garden Volunteer
* Tide Pool Feeding
* Exhibits Installation
* Special Events Help
All volunteers receive an orientation to the Museum's volunteer program. Docents receive additional trainings for the education program(s) they will teach and shadow experienced docents/staff.
