Operation Manager Assistant
About The Company
AFB is at an exciting transformational moment as we move into the next stage of growth. What began as a startup is developing into a national and international movement with the capacity to encourage, nurture and uplift children with cancer and other debilitating and life threatening diseases. We have many ideas, plans and projects that we’d like to execute and launch this year, including a couple capital projects that involve a new home for the organization in an abandoned theatre, and setting up a branch office is Israel, among others.
Job Purpose
We are challenged to create a fundraising and development operation that will provide the annual revenue and a depth of support we need to ensure that our programs and organization are supported and sustained over the short and long term. The organization’s leadership is deeply committed to its fundraising success. To this end, the Board seeks a part-time, volunteer Operations Manager Assistant to join our organization for the long term. As an Operations Manager Assistant you will work closely with the Operations Manager to meet A free Bird Organization’s organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Assist Operations Manager in supervising daily operations of organization.
- Develop productive, profitable and achievement oriented working environment for employees.
- Address operational issues and concerns in a timely fashion.
- Supervise operations team to ensure operational excellence and excellent customer services.
- Educate operations team on best practices, company policies and service excellence standards.
- Develop and maintain operational guidelines for staffs.
- Assist in interviewing, recruiting, training, performance evaluation, promotion
- Determine staffing requirements, work assignment and schedules for new projects.
- Coordinate with General Manager in different operational issues and promotional activities.
- Evaluate current operational strategies and recommend improvements.
- Generate operational reports for management.
