Mud Play Day at Crown Point Park! Shifts Available: Willing to Work With Your Schedule

Crown Point Park is hosting four amazing hours of playtime for children and families. Children will explore reptiles and other parts of nature through a magnifying glass. Create a fort, walking stick, or binder feeder. Children will learn about animal tracks, and cooking s'mores in a solar over. Children will also get a chance to play in the mud, build forts and go through our obstacle course.

  • EVENT DATE! - Saturday, June 29th
    • Shift #1: 6:00 a.m.-9:30 a.m.
    • Shift #2: 9:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
    • Shift #3:12:30 p.m.-3:00 p.m.

Assist Parks and Recreation staff with:
  • All volunteers will be assisting with the set up and breakdown of the event.
  • Booth Volunteer- Organizing/preparing your booth, Restocking your booth’s materials, instructing and demonstrating how to participate in your booth, hand out prizes, if applicable.
  • Greeter/ parking representative- Greet our guest, answer any questions they may have or point them in the right direction, inform them of our programs
  • Cleaning Crew- If anyone has left unattended drinks or food you may throw it away, Wipe down surfaces, Empty the trashcans (this has to be checked every half an hour)
  • General Volunteers- Assist staff as needed during the event

Volunteer groups accepted! If you are unable to stay for the entire event, that is okay as well. Come on out! We need help with set-up and break down, helping out with crafts and fort building and overseeing obstacle course.

WILLING TO WORK WITH YOUR SCHEDULE! VOLUNTEERS ARE NOT REQUIRED TO VOLUNTEER FOR ENTIRE EVENT!
