We are looking for someone with a art back round ( even a casual artist is fine) who would like to be a teacher assistant for a 10 week ceramics workshop for older adults.

We would strongly prefer someone who has worked with clay and had items fired in a Kiln before.

The class is being held for 10 weeks on Thursdays from 9 - 11:30 and lunch will be provided to the participants and the volunteer at 11:30 should they wish to stay.

These classes are for advanced art students over the age of 60. They are free through a grant for the participants.

This is a short commitment volunteer placement. If you are interested email me at asimmons@hanac.org.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering!
