ORGANIZATION: Project Helping

  • 3 people are interested

"Happy City: Art for the People" is a six-week, citywide art intervention with the purpose of breaking down personal, emotional and social barriers, while nurturing individual and collective well-being. The project brings together more than 10 artists’ perspectives to address ideas of happiness and community wellness, in order to imagine a more connected society. Overall, the project invokes the question - can a city be happy? "Happy City" is on view from May 18 through June 30, 2018.

WHAT WILL WE BE DOING?

As a Happy City Ambassador you will speak to "Emotional Baggage Drop" and "Happy City", be stationed at the doors to the artwork, give artwork instructions and prompts, monitor time of guest in artwork, count attendance, assist in daily maintaining of artwork, notify the General Manager on site if needed, and hand out "Happy City" Program Guides and "Ear to Ear" publication.
