Are you crafty? Do you love making seniors smile? Are you well-organized? Meals on Wheels of Metro Tulsa currently has a volunteer opportunity that may be perfect for you!

Throughout the year, we send out hand-made cards to our home-bound seniors that come in from all over the Tulsa community! We love to give our recipients an extra reason to smile around the holidays or even "just because". We are in need of a long-term volunteer(s) to help us manage our Greeting Cards program and help get the cards sent out to our senior friends on a regular basis.

This opportunity can be managed based on your schedule, and would require a couple trips to our main office each month to collect, organize, and distribute the cards, particularly around the holidays. Also, many of our cards are beautifully decorated, but they need a little note written inside as a sweet, personal touch. This is something that you can do, or invite others to do as a volunteer project.
