Applications must be submitted and approved prior to placement. This project is in Atlanta 30327. Would you be interested in helping with a new project: RFID tagging? Volunteers will help staff update the tracking system for every library item by inserting a radio-frequency identification (RFID) tag which uses electromagnetic fields to automatically identify and track tags attached to library materials. Shifts for this project would be 1-2+ hours during Monday-Friday from 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.

Description
The Fulton County Library System is the largest library system in the state of Georgia. Volunteers serve at all 34 locations. The System provides a variety of literacy and community information services and programs for citizens in and around the Metropolitan Atlanta area. These services include, but are not limited to: providing audio, visual and print media for check-out by registered patrons; providing programming that reflects the diverse interests of area residents and visitors, and providing meeting areas for community discussion and interaction.
