An average of 90- 125 people per night are provided dinner at 40 Prado. Dinner is served nightly between 5:00pm - 7:00pm. We depend largely on the support of the community to help feed this vulnerable population each night. CAPSLO's Homeless Services Program is seeking meal donations from community members or groups who can provide a hot, ready-to-serve meal or donation of items to prepare for the evening meal such as sandwiches, hot dogs, hamburgers, etc. We have some helpful meal tips for groups of this size that I would be happy to forward to you. Volunteers who prepare meals are welcomed to stay and serve dinner to clients, but it is not a requirement of meal preparation and donation. Generous donors like you are the key to this organization's success. We hope that we can count on your support to help with this valuable program. If you would prefer to provide a monetary donation to support MLM’s evening meal service, I would be happy to deliver a donation envelope. Monetary donations support the purchasing of prepared meals on nights that we do not have a meal donation.
