ORGANIZATION: The Arc Minnesota & Arc's Value Village

Help us prepare for Community Donation Week!
We historically receive a large amount of donations during the City wide Garage Sale weekend of the May. Help us prepare for the increased volume by volunteering at our donation door receiving donations, unpacking, sorting, stickering, and stocking the sales floor in preparation for Community Donation Weekend.

This is a great opportunity to gather your friends, family and/or coworkers together to have some fun while making a difference for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This is a family friendly event. We can accept volunteers ages 8 years old and up with an chaperone.

Shifts are available Friday through Monday 10am-1pm, 1pm-4pm, 4pm-6pm. Please sign-up at http://www.arcsvaluevillage.org/volunteer/

Description

The Arc Minnesota is a statewide nonprofit organization that works to promote and protect the human rights of people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Arc helps people navigate systems while working to advance social change centered in justice, equity and belonging in community. Arc's Value Village is a public awareness and revenue generating vehicle for The Arc Minnesota. Arc's Value Village accepts clothing, housewares, art, media, books & related items and sells those items to the community.
