Are you looking for a way to spend more time outside and make a positive impact on the life of a senior? East Side Elders has a quickly growing need for lawn care volunteers to help their senior neighbors by mowing a lawn or two this summer. No personal lawn mower or other lawn equipment necessary; they will be provided.

About Us: East Side Elders helps seniors in the Payne-Phalen, Conway-Battle Creek and Dayton's Bluff neighborhoods live full and rewarding lives in their homes as long as possible. Our team of volunteers, staff and community members work together to provide services and resources to our senior neighbors.

Hours: Set your own schedule!

Qualifications:

  • Able to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds in a caring, courteous manner
  • Experience mowing lawns

Our mission is to create a circle of care around the elders in Dayton’s Bluff, Payne-Phalen, and Conway-Battle Creek neighborhoods, empowering seniors to live safe and independent lives in their homes.

Description

East Side Elders helps our seniors live full and rewarding lives - in the home and community they want - for as long as possible and as healthy and well as possible. Our teams of volunteers, students and community members provide a wide range of services and activities that give the necessary support and resources to our elderly neighbors wherever they call home.
