Pet Therapy Volunteers

Are you interested in joining the Pet Therapy team at Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan. Pet-therapy dogs offer a calming and loving distraction for clients and their families. We invite volunteers and their dogs to visit clients and families at one of our hospice residences or meet one-on-one with hospice clients in their home or the facility where they reside. Hospice volunteers help patients, families, and their caregivers by offering emotional support at the end of life. Great joy can be found in helping someone live life to its fullest; for as long as life lasts.

Volunteers get to choose their assignments! Becoming a hospice volunteer could be the most rewarding experience of your life. Contact us today to learn more about this unique opportunity.

Services are provided in Kalamazoo, Van Buren, Cass, Calhoun, Barry, Allegan, Berrien, Eaton, St. Joseph and Branch counties.
