Sojourn Hospice is seeking compassionate and caring individuals to bring meaning into the lives of hospice patients. We are especially welcoming volunteers to help us carry out our Legacy / Life Stories Program which focuses on sharing human stories through multimedia, while affirming one's life and creating meaningful and tangible gifts for loved ones.
You will spend quality time getting to know individuals who have a life-limiting illness and facilitate meaningful interviews. You may use recordings, writing, photography, film, or your passion and skills to share an individual's life journey.
In depth training on end of life care, hospice philosophy and legacy work are provided.
