ORGANIZATION: Riverview Center

Our hotline utilizes highly trained volunteers to maintain a 24-hour presence. Volunteers undergo a rigorous training program and background check to ensure that every point of contact with survivors is not only informative but also empathetic and safe.

After completing training to prepare volunteers for their role, we ask volunteers to take 2 on-call shifts per month, which are primarily overnight or over the weekend and commit to volunteering for 1 year.

Volunteer applications can be found at http://www.riverviewcenter.org/volunteer-form. If you have any questions, please contact Iowa Volunteer Coordinator, Jessica Rupp, at jessica@riverviewcenter.org or 563-380-3332.
