Project Summary

The IT Project Volunteer will assist Minnesota Children's Museum’s IT department with the building of a new small data warehouse, enabling staff to more efficiently access data to report and analyze.

Responsibilities

  • Create a data warehouse based off an existing database
  • Create scripts to add, modify, and delete tables in the new warehouse
  • Create triggers to automate the scripts as the live data changes
Qualifications
  • Skilled knowledge of Microsoft SQL 2016 and SQL Manager
  • Ability to replicate data tables and create scripts to add, modify, and delete data
  • Ability to follow instructions and ask for assistance and additional explanation as necessary
  • Ability and willingness to work independently with minimal supervision

Desired Time Commitment

This is a flexible volunteer requiring onsite and remote work. Project must be completed by July of 2018.
