This is in response to a review regarding teen volunteering. We do offer teen volunteer opportunities for ages 14-18 that do not require a parent to accompany them. They can apply to join the Play Team! Play Team members volunteer during a summer or school year session and work together to deliver programming and customer service to visitors while developing their skills in teamwork, leadership, confidence, communication, and more.

My contact was quick with email responses. She gave me all the material I need to complete the project successfully and was pleasant & thankful.

This is only available to teens under 18 if they have a parent volunteer with them. Not sure why organizations make it so difficult for young teens to volunteer - lots of missed potential out there!
