During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
If you have a certified pet therapy animal you would like to share with hospice patients and their families, Grace Hospice has opportunities for you. Or, if you have wanted to have your dog or cat tested and certified, we can help you make that a reality. Nothing compares with the joy that is delivered by sharing the loving company of a gentle pet, particularly with those who can no longer care for their own and are lonely for that special companion. For each employee to treat every patient as their own treasured loved one, providing care that affords a quality of life that outweighs quanity of days, and supports caregivers as their hearts find healing.
A volunteer's gift of time completes the circle of care that is offered through hospice.
Hospice is designed to provide comfort care as well as spiritual and emotional support in the final phase of terminal illness. At Grace Hospice, we focus on enhancing the quality of life and our volunteers play a key role in our mission. Our hospice program strives to go beyond the physical needs of the patient. Grace Hospice ensures that our patients will spend their final days of their journey in comfort and with dignity.
Our volunteers share their time and talents in order to offer companionship to our patients, while easing the burden that may be felt by their family members during this difficult time.
We'll work with your schedule.
