Veterans Serving Veterans

Solace Hospice would like to offer a unique opportunity for you to serve another Veteran. As a Veteran-to-Veteran Volunteer, you will offer your friendship and time to a Veteran hospice patient located across Maricopa County. No one can communicate to with another Veteran quite like another military veteran or active-duty personnel.

Veterans will share things with other veterans that they don't share with anyone else, even family. Veterans are part of a distinct culture with their own common language and experience. Few people have had similar experiences except other veterans.

If you want to learn how rewarding being a Veteran-to-Veteran Volunteer can be, please contact Barb Lease at Solace Hospice 602-888-7037 to get started.
