Have you heard about the issues of food waste and food insecurity?
Second Chance Foods has found a simple way to address these two complex issues. We partner with different food purveyors and then deliver this food to food programs that serve needy people.
Currently, we need a volunteer who will pickup donated food from the Croton Foodtown and deliver it to the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen in Peekskill. Food should be picked up and delivered before noon.(A separate Monday opportunity is also listed.)
