This year marks the 26th Annual Letter Carriers’ Food Drive! For Emergency Food Network, this single day is one of the most important food drives of the year. We receive close to 300,000 pounds of food, enough to stock Pierce County food bank shelves through the summer.
To help make this day a success, our friends at the United States Post Office need our help! Unloading Teams are needed! Unloading Teams are individuals and groups of 2-8 volunteers who help to unload food from the postal carriers' vehicles and into an EFN receptacle.
